Project Description
In coordination with UPRR, construct Double Shoofly Track for construction of new bridge for UPRR Mainline Tracks. As a Subcontractor to Griffith Company, J.A. Placek Construction Co. was responsible for installation & removal of Shoofly Tracks.
Scope of Work
Construct approximately 4,400TF (track-feet) of Double Shoofly Tracks and one (1EA) Manual Operated #11 Turnout with 136# CWR and Wood Ties including installation of two (2) grade crossing at Detour Road. After completion of new bridge and new Mainline Tracks, remove and dispose 4,400TF of Shoofly Track.
